    • Provide current TOEFL scores (if applicable)
      • Paper-based test: minimum score of 600, Section 1 score of 62 or above, and no other score less than 52
      • Computer-based test: minimum score of 250, Section 1 score of 26 or above, and no other score less than 19
    • GRE minimum scores: 492 Verbal; 664 Quantitative; 647 Analytical*
    • * Starting Fall of 2003, the Analytical section was replaced with a Writing Assessment Exam. [details here].(1=poor; 6=excellent)
      NOTE: (Subject tests are not required)
    • Professional degree scores (MCAT, VCAT etc.) are not accepted in lieu of GRE's, unless a medical degree (MD, D.O., etc.) is awarded in the USA.
    • Undergraduate and/or graduate GPA: 3.0 minimum
    • Prerequisite courses:
      • 1 yr college level Biology, Zoology, Physiology, or professional school training
      • 1yr Physics, with lab
      • 1yr Biochemistry
      • Chemistry, including quantitative analysis and organic chemistry
      • Math through integral calculus
      • Physical chemistry and computer science courses recommended, but not required.
